Up goes our new True Value sign!

If you live in the area, many of you may remember us as Coast to Coast Hardware. In August of 1998, we changed our affiliation to True Value. Because many of our customers have asked us why, here's a brief explanation:

Yes, there are still many independently owned and operated Hardware stores left! Your shopping choices are not limited to just corporate-owned entities.
In 1997, the independently-owned hardware store "co-op" organizations of Coast to Coast, True Value and Servistar joined forces to create the Tru Serv Corporation. In this increasingly competitive retail world -- as good as many of these stores are -- we needed the buying power that a 10,000 strong buying group could offer. As part of Tru Serv, we now can buy with the low costs and offer retails as good as the largest retailers in the country!

We decided to change our affiliation to True Value as a way to enhance our name recognition as our community grows.

We're working hard to be better than ever, with even more selection and savings throughout the store!

We remodeled the facade of our store in 2003.
